Balayage is hand-painted colour, placed where light would naturally fall, and it has become the most requested colour service in the salon for a simple reason: it grows out softly. No hard regrowth line, no six-week dependency, just colour that looks sun-touched from the first day and ages gracefully.
How we do balayage
Your colourist begins with the map: where brightness flatters your face, how your hair falls, and the depth of your base. Lightener is then painted by hand, section by section, and the result is toned to the exact shade you have agreed, from warm caramel to cool ash. Bond protection with Olaplex is built into the service so the hair stays strong through the lift.
On dark South Asian hair, balayage is a craft of patience. Very dark or previously coloured hair may need two sessions to reach a light target shade safely, and we will tell you that at the consultation, not at the basin.
Balayage, highlights, or ombre?
Highlights are foiled from the root for an even, all-over brightness. Ombre is a stronger tip-to-root gradient. Balayage sits between: softer than ombre, more natural than foils, and the easiest of the three to live with. Our journal guide compares all three for Pakistani hair, and your colourist will help you choose in person.
Maintenance and longevity
Because the grow-out is soft, most guests refresh balayage every three to four months, with a gloss or toner between visits to keep the tone clean. At home: colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, minimal heat with a protectant, and UV protection in summer. We will set the routine with you before you leave the chair.
Balayage in a bridal timeline
Colour belongs two to three weeks before the trial, not before the wedding: it settles, you live with it, and the trial designs your looks against the finished shade. Brides going noticeably lighter start earlier still, since staged lightening needs sessions weeks apart. We sequence all of it at your consultation.
Pricing
Balayage is our highest-tier colour booking, priced by hair length and density and by how far your shade needs to travel, and confirmed at consultation. A toner refresh between full services is a smaller booking.
